In order to be considered a Food Vendor at the East Meets West Festival you must sell various dishes from your restaurant which align with the festival’s mission – to celebrate Morrisville’s cultural diversity. Three to four small plates such as small wraps and sliders is suggested.
Each restaurant will be required to obtain a Temporary Food Establishment permit and pass an inspection by Wake County on the day of the festival unless your business is regulated by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. The Morrisville Innovation Foundation will assist in this process and submit all permits on behalf of the restaurants.
A description of your signature menu item will be requested on the Food Vendor Application. No vendor shall have an exclusive on cuisine or food items being sold. All of the above criteria must be met in order to be considered for participation.
The East Meets West Committee is now accepting applications from local restaurants to participate in the September 23, 2017, festival. Click the link below to access the online application, or download and print the PDF version of the application.
